Many of our commercial lenders have preferred appraisers that they use. We also recommend talking to several firms to find the best fit in terms of property-type experience, turn-around time, credibility and valuation techniques.

We recommend being knowledgeable when it comes to ordering your appraisal and talking with your financing institution first because 99% of the time, this fee comes as an out of pocket expense, which may or may not be reimbursed at closing.
